What the Signature Escape actually includes
Book 10 nights directly with us and two things are added to your stay at no extra cost:
- A Romantic Beach Dinner, a private table by the ocean set up just for the two of you (normally $200)
- A Professional Photography Session, so you leave with proper photos of the trip and not just a camera roll of sunsets (normally $100)
Together that’s $300 of experiences included. You don’t pay extra, you don’t fill in a separate form, and there’s no catch. We just want people who commit to a longer stay to get something special for it.
Why 10 nights makes sense
Ten nights sounds like a lot until you’re there. Here’s how it tends to play out for our guests.
The first two days are for landing. You sleep in, swim, and wander the beach with no plan at all. Somewhere around day four the real holiday starts, and you stop thinking about what you “should” be doing. That’s when most people book the boat trip they were unsure about, or finally try the SeaWalk.
By the second week you’ve found your rhythm. You have a favorite breakfast spot on the terrace and you know the staff by name. The dinner by the beach lands better at that point too, because you’re relaxed enough to enjoy it instead of rushing through it for the photos.
That’s the case for staying longer. A short trip is a highlight reel, and 10 nights lets you live a little.
Your villa is half the experience

Over 10 nights, the private pool matters more than you’d think. Morning swim before breakfast, a cool-off in the afternoon heat, a late dip when the beach has gone dark. You never have to share it or plan around anyone else.
Eat well while you’re here
Over a longer stay, food becomes part of the story. Our restaurant covers breakfast and dinner for many guests, and you can upgrade to full board if you’d rather not think about lunch either.
But Zanzibar’s food scene is worth stepping out for, too. The island’s mix of Swahili, Arab, and Indian cooking is unlike anywhere else on the coast, and ten nights gives you time to actually explore it. The little weekly things you’ll look forward to
Part of what makes a longer stay enjoyable is having small rituals to look forward to. We run a weekly schedule of guest experiences, all included in your stay:
- Sunset yoga on Sundays and Thursdays
- A live fire show on Monday nights
- A Maasai cultural show on Tuesday afternoons
- Exotic fruit tasting on Wednesdays
- Beach Movie Night on Fridays, with comfortable seating right on the sand
With 10 nights you’ll catch nearly all of them. Friday movie night is a quiet favorite, because after a week or so of beach life, a film under the stars with the sound of the water behind it feels like the right way to end the week.

A few honest tips before you go
- Book early for peak months. Villas with private pools go first, especially around holidays.
- Bring your own alcohol if you want it. We don’t sell it on-site, but you’re welcome to bring drinks from outside to enjoy at your villa.
- Tell us if it’s a special occasion. Honeymoon, anniversary, birthday: if we know, we can plan around it, and the beach dinner is a good moment to build on.
- Don’t over-schedule. The best part of a 10-night stay is the empty afternoons.
